I literally lived off those the whole day today, but that’s alright because they contain almost everything you need during the course of a day.
ingredients for big milkshakes
1 cup frozen cherries
1/2 lb plain low-fat, unsweetened yoghurt
1/4 litre skim milk
1 handful of raisins or cranberries
1/4 cup granted coconut
1/2 cup oats
3 tbsp wheat bran
stevia, maple syrup or other sweetener (optional)
Obviously this not ultimate solution. If you like it a bit thicker less milk, if you like it thicker more yoghurt and oats, if you like it more fruity take more fruit.
You don’t have to take frozen cherries either you can take fresh one you would just have to remove the stones and personally I don’t like to spend that much time on my breakfast. Plus the frozen cherries will cool down the drink without using ice cream or crushed ice.
The recipe is pretty straight forward. Take cherries out of the freezer and let them warm up for about 15 – 20 min, just to make it a bit easier for your food processor.
Break banana in halves or quarters and place into the food processor along with the other ingredients and process until smooth.
