If you like hot dishes this is amazing. No fat, no sugar just veggies. I guess this wouldn’t really be a zero points dish because canned veggies do have some points, but I honestly don’t see why. Of course you have to be carefull with canned food, but the cans I got contained beans/peppers and salt only. I don’t see whats wrong with that. They are a great alternative if you don’t have a lot of time. I’m also a big fan canned, peeled tomatoes for i.e. tomato soups. It’s just so much faster and I suck at peeling them.
What you need
1 can kidney beans
1 can tomato peppers
2 garlic cloves
1 teaspoon chilli ( can vary with taste)
juice of 1 lemon
strain Beans and Peppers off water, chopp garlic, place all ingridigents into a food processor and process until smooth.
I crumbled some tortillia chips on top and it was delicious.
This will give you a fairly big bowl of dip, but if you have else planned for the cans you openend, don’t worry about making a big portion, you can store it in the fridge for 1 – 2 days and it still tastes good
