Honey – Chilli Tofu with Sesame

Quick and easy lunch or side dish. Tofu is always great because it is much cheaper than beef or pork

For one serving

3 oz Tofu
1 tbsp honey
1/4 teaspoon chilli flakes
1 tbsp sesame
1 tbsp soy sauce

Heat soy sauce with a tbsp of water in a pan. Cut tofu into squares and place them into the pan. Let simmer for 2 min, then add honey, chilli flakes and half of the sesame. Let simmer until the liquid is almost gone, constantly stirring. Remove from the heat and pour the rest of the sesame on top before serving

    This is a brilliant recipe. Tofu is a favorite in our home. We like to balance meals with meat with vegetarian dishes – with more emphasizes on the vegetarian. Virginia
