Tuna Burger Patties

The idea is quite simple instead of using high fat and often low quality ground beef you use tuna. You can make actual burgers out of them or just have them with veggies and potatoes as I did.

for 2 – 3 servings:

1 can of tuna (roughly 6 oz)
2 tbsp of whole grain flour or breadcrumbs
1 egg

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper
other herbs and spices if you want to

Drain as much water off the tuna as you can. Mix all ingredients in a big bowl. Form burger patties out of it. Heat some oil in a pan and stir fry the patties in it. Done.

Mine turned to be a bit thick but I didn’t make actual burgers out of them, if you want to you should make them a little thinner. Tuna is healthier and cheaper than ground meat so this is a great alternative, try it out
