Bean Taco Filling

I tried something different here and it worked out quite well. The filling itself also doesn’t have any weight watchers points, which makes it a great low-fat alternative to meat

Lentil Soup

Gosh, it was so hard to make a good picture of this. As you can see, I didn’t really succeed with that. But while it doesn’t look good this soup is delicious, simple to make filling, full of good proteins and extremely inexpensive. I paid 0,68€ for the lentils, 0,10€ for vegetable stock, roughly 0,80€ for potatoes and 0,80€ for carrots, so that’s a total of 2,38€ (3,04$, 1,97 £) for 6 – 7 servings of soup. Depending on how much vinegar and sugar you decide to add it may end up to be a bit more than that. But even if you decide to add a whole bottle of vinegar (roughly 1,19€) and 1 lb of sugar (roughly 0,89€) it’s still fairly inexpensive. Prices may vary from country to country though.
My grandma likes to add bacon and smoked pork chop to it, but I haven’t seen anyone do that in years and I prefer it without any meat, but if you like you can add some of that
